My friend Rachel (at the top of the stairs) made Abby (at the bottom of the stairs) calendars last christmas, all the pictures are photos of the three of us being silly and having fun together. This is October -- goofing around on the stairs to the parking lot at the rockridge BART station

my hiking boots

Hell yes. bought these from the local Army-Navy store today so that I can have at least one * successful * hiking trip (aka not ruined by snow and/or my bum ankle) before the summer is over. They were a bit of a splurge but incredibly worth it. Cannot wait to hit the trail with these.
